What We're Saying

Interest Rates: The Federal Reserve kept rates steady this week, in part noting that inflationary concerns are playing a central role in the bank's outlook. George Ratiu, NAA's VP of Research, says that "the result is a household economy that looks resilient in the aggregate but strained at the kitchen table. While markets cheered the softer June CPI numbers, consumers do not feel inflation as a monthly data point; they experience the cumulative and significant loss of purchasing power." Read more with NAA’s Economic Indicators

20 on the Rise: "NAA’s 2026 20 on the Rise class brings together early-career multifamily professionals working across marketing, brand and people development, property management, regional operations and technology partnerships. In interviews with Multi-Housing News, five multifamily rising leaders described roles that look different on paper but increasingly depend on the same skill: connecting the pieces of the apartment business that shape performance and resident experience."
