Housing Package: Seventy-six bipartisan members of the U.S. House penned a letter warning that new provisions in the Congressional housing package "would effectively halt the production of Build-to-Rent (BTR) housing nationwide and eliminate hundreds of thousands of future units." Read the latest with NAA's Live Updates. 

Deeper Dive: “Now more than ever, housing affordability is a defining challenge for Americans and their families – and it’s time for meaningful action,” said NAA’s Bob Pinnegar in a statement applauding the letter. “Congress must address damaging language within the current housing package that would eliminate our nation’s growing Build-to-Rent (BTR) market, ultimately removing a flexible housing option for families and exacerbating supply shortages.” Read more
