What We're Saying

HOME Program: HUD recently closed the public comment period for a supplemental notice of proposed rulemaking (SNPRM) entitled “HOME Investment Partnerships [HOME] Program: Further Program Updates and Streamlining.” NAA, alongside its industry partners, submitted comments to HUD praising their proposal to make HOME more efficient, but cautioned the agency to eliminate proposed “good cause” eviction requirements. Read more.

Fraud: Thanks to the steadfast advocacy of the Florida Apartment Association (FAA), Governor Ron DeSantis recently approved House Bill 1293, making Florida the first state in the nation to make residential rental application fraud a crime. Read more
